To make the gym time more comfortable, the shoes should be well fitting. Make sure that you get the right shorts. You want something that allows you to stretch without getting into your sides. Make sure that it is not too tight as it can limit your movements.

Avoid buying something that looks like as travel bag since you will only be carrying few items. The weight of the items should be well distributed. You will be very tired when you leave the gym.
